    Role Overview: We're seeking an experienced FDM 3D Printing Slicing Software Engineer to join our growing team. You will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing slicing software, creating innovative infill patterns, toolpath algorithms, and process enhancements to elevate our additive manufacturing capabilities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and optimize slicing algorithms for FDM 3D printing.

    • Design and implement custom infill patterns and supports.

    • Optimize toolpaths for speed, strength, and material efficiency.

    • Integrate slicing software with Koobz's automated manufacturing workflows.

    • Collaborate closely with product designers, mechanical engineers, and production teams to refine manufacturing processes.

    • Continuously analyze printing data to identify improvements in slicing and toolpath generation.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.

    • Strong expertise in developing slicing software or extensive experience with open-source slicers like Cura, PrusaSlicer, or Simplify3D.

    • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, Grasshopper workflows, and familiarity with CAD software.

    • Deep understanding of FDM printing processes, material behaviors, and mechanical properties.

    • Demonstrated ability to create custom slicing solutions, infill designs, and toolpath optimizations.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    Preferred:

    • Experience with automated manufacturing systems and robotics integration.

    • Familiarity with AI-driven optimization techniques.

    • Previous work in footwear or wearable technology industries.
