    FE Controls is looking for a Project Coordinator who can help support our office and Project Manager. The opportunity is great for new grads with the business administration and/or engineering background. Salary will be based on experience and is open for negotiation.

    Project Coordinator Job Description:

    Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information.

    Heavily administrative role, including filling out and submitting documents, creating and updating Excel files.

    Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes.

    Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives.

    Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management.

    Make sure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve.

    Help prepare budgets.

    Analyze risks and opportunities.

    Oversee project procurement management.

    Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise.

    Keep inventory of materials for projects and create/submit purchase orders for more materials as needed.

    Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.

    Work with the Project Manager.

    Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures.

    Issue all appropriate legal paperwork (e.g. contracts and terms of agreement).

    Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.

    Project Coordinator Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree in business or engineering, or related field of study.

    Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.

    Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

    Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.

    Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Projects, and Outlook.

    Knowledge file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.

    Ability to work on tight deadlines.

    Access to available transportation.

    Available to travel to various sites throughout the Bay Area.
