Job Duties:
Act as the inital point of contact for Fello Logistics solutions and service sales across domestic logistics business fields with clients
Collaborate with your account manager / carrier account manager to effectively manage your book of business as a collaborative team in order to deliver the highest level of customer service possible.
Obtain new customers through sales “hunting” activity, correctly assessing the correct person to be talking to as well as the prospective account as profitable, significant or strategic in order to secure winning bids
Perform all aspects of the sales process and input & update all relevant activities utilizing CRM daily (required)
Conduct quarterly business reviews with clients and maintain close/ongoing communication with customers and operations team to assure expectations are satisfied.
Build, maintain, and grow customer relationships through cold calls and consistent communication, research leads, uncover needs, and persuade decision makers to allow Fello logistics to service their freight
Use creative and persistent methods to prospect and generate new business opportunities.
Serve as a consultative resource and partner to customers regarding service offerings, market trends, industry standards and effectively provide quotes considering all variable factors
Maintaining operational efficiencies for book of business through functions that include, but are not limited to, load building, scheduling, issue escalation, and capacity securement. Work with Carrier Managers to secure best viable options; calling carriers to get additional options and track when necessary.
Effectively support teammates’ customers when they are out of office

Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in supply chain account management or inside or outside sales in logistics OR
3+ years of experience in inside or outside business-to-business sales
