Here is what we do: We are life insurance brokers. People reach out requesting life insurance and we follow up to meet their needs. We educate families on what life insurance is and what it does for them. We educate them on the numerous kinds of life insurance policies that are available to them and advise them so they can choose the best option for their situation. Most people believe life insurance is just for when you die and this is not true at all. Here are some things we do not do: We do not cold call, we do not knock door to door, we do not beg our friends and family to buy life insurance so we can make some money, we do not try to cram crumby policies down a family’s throat, we do not badger people, we do not harm people or put them in a bad situation. Here are some questions I get: How much money does an average agent make? An average agent makes between $5,000 and $10,000 a week. There are a ton of agents that make less than this and there are a ton of agents that make more than this. It is the average. Is there a salary or base pay? No this is strictly a commission position. I do not like anyone telling me how much I am worth by determining an hourly wage for me or a salary for me. I like to determine my own value and those that are busting their butts and not making it on their salary or hourly wage know all too well what happens when someone determines your wage for you. Here you get to determine how much you are worth. Do you have to be a good salesman? Absolutely not! We are service based. If you put your client first, give good service, and truly care about people you will succeed here. I have people that have come from fast food, the medical field, kitchen managers in nursing homes, construction, scrubbing toilets (literally), etc…. I do have people that came from sales positions, and I have to reprogram them to be service oriented. Salesmen usually struggle a bit with the transition. What kind of schedule do you work? I work 6 and sometimes 7 days a week, but I am running a business and helping others. Here is our schedule: Sunday: Rest Monday: We dial prospects (no cold calling. These are folks that have requested to be contacted) to set appointments for the next 2 days. We work as long as it takes to set 15 appointments for the Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday and Wednesday: We run the appointments that we have set Thursday: We dial prospects to set 15 appointments for Friday and Saturday. Friday and Saturday: we run appointments. Agents that run this schedule make $10,000 a week. If you do not want or need to make $10,000 a week you do not have to work this much. We have part time people that work less than this. The beautiful part of being a business owner is setting your own schedule. Do you have leads? Yes we have leads from multiple compliant vendors available to us daily. How much do you spend on leads? This depends on how much money you need to make. I personally spend about $2000.00 a week on leads, but when you are making $10,000 a week this is nothing. You do not have to spend as much as I do. Leads cost anywhere from $1.50 to $11.00. There are more expensive leads available, but I haven not purchased them and we have been wildly successful. Do I have to have a lot of money to get started? Most definitely not. We help with the licensing and we give free leads to get you started. Do you have training? Absolutely!! I have been doing insurance for nearly 15 years now and Family First Life has the best training I have EVER received. There is constant support and constant FREE training. This company truly wants everyone to succeed and pushes you to be successful. Do I have to recruit people to be successful (is this a multi-level marketing scheme)? Heck no! You do not have to recruit anyone at all! You can be an agent and still provide a life that your family deserves. The average income I am talking about is for agents not agencies. Can I talk to your agents to see if this is real? Most definitely! We are all more than willing to talk to you all you have to do is ask! Do I have to pass a background check?
