    Job Description

    We are a busy property management company in Sausalito seeking an Office Assistant / Bookkeeper with the opportunity of growth within the company.

    We are looking for a multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude. Candidates should be able to assist management by handling office tasks and providing polite and professional assistance. You must be responsive and willing to meet each challenge directly, be comfortable with computers, general office tasks, and excel at both verbal and written communication. The ability to juggle multiple projects at once, be highly organized, and have exceptional attention to detail follow through on all tasks is crucial.

    You'll be responsible for the completion of all business office tasks. This includes general administration, answering phone checking emails, file keeping, office organization, among other things.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Answering phones, and emails
    • Maintain tenants & vendors files
    • Credit Card reconciliation
    • Accounts Payables
    • Get quotes for new construction job
    • Follow up on Insurance requirements from Tenants & Vendors
    • Time cards for contractors
    • Maintain/organize filing system in Google Drive
    • Update Company forms as needed
    • Create and maintain spreadsheet files
    • Prepare expense reports
    • Help keep company policy & procedure manuals current
    • Assists in the management of commercial real estate properties

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • 3 year of office experience in a real estate or construction setting preferred but not required
    • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
    • Must have strong communication skills
    • Computer skills at a level necessary to accomplish the job
    • Must be positive and kind
    • Experience using Word and Excel as well as Google Drive
    • Ability to maintain orderly, clear records
    • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
    • Maintain confidentiality
