    Our client is seeking a highly skilled Facilities Project Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to join our team. The Facilities Project Engineer will play a key role in managing and overseeing various facility projects, ranging from maintenance and upgrades to new construction initiatives. This position requires strong engineering knowledge, project management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external contractors.

    What to know about this role:

    Location: Easton, PA (Lehigh Valley)

    Salary: $65,000- $80,000 (flexible)

    This is an on-site position (relocation offered)

    Type of position: Full-time permanent position

    Key Responsibilities:

    Project Management:

    Lead and manage facility projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

    Coordinate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and requirements.

    Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress throughout the project lifecycle.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.

    Engineering Analysis and Design:

    Utilize engineering principles to analyze project requirements and develop appropriate design solutions.

    Read, interpret, and create drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.

    Ensure compliance with national and local building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.

    Evaluate and select equipment and systems for facility upgrades and installations.

    Contractor Management:

    Work with external contractors through the competitive bid process, including issuing RFIs, addendums, and change orders.

    Oversee contractor performance to ensure adherence to project specifications and timelines.

    Coordinate and communicate effectively with contractors to resolve issues and ensure project success.

    Software Proficiency:

    Possess strong skills in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management software.

    Ability to utilize software tools effectively for project planning, design, and documentation.

    Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.

    3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a Facilities role.

    Knowledge of national and local building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.

    Experience working with outside contractors and managing competitive bid processes.

    Ability to read, interpret, and create drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.

    Entry level knowledge or experience in architectural, civil, electrical, environmental, and mechanical engineering areas.

    Experience in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management software.

    Working knowledge of ventilation systems, compressed air and cooling water systems, and construction principles is a plus.
