Our client is hiring a responsible Administrative Assistant (10-15 hours per month) virtual role. Whole work from home is ok for this role, our client is hiring someone who resides in the Washington, DC area for any in person events or meetings as needed.
This is a great opportunity for line who has worked at a law firm, had experience with government contracts and/or supporting small businesses owners.
We are seeking someone who is RELIABLE and DETAIL ORIENTED.
Things to know about this role:
Virtual role at 10 hrs per week to start
While virtual we are seeking applicants in the Washington, DC area for any in person events as needed
This is a 1099 contract admin role
Must be a US Citizen
Must know how to use CRM tools including constant contact.
$20/hour-$25/hour
Responsibilities
Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
Develop and maintain a filing system
Update and maintain office policies and procedures
Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
Maintain contact lists
Book travel arrangements
Submit and reconcile expense reports
Provide general support to visitors
Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
Requirements
Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant, Virtual Assistant or Office Admin Assistant.
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines.
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular).
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus.
