Job Description
As a CNC Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for proving out, programming, and continually improving Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality precision parts and components. You will work closely with the production team, engineers, and designers to ensure efficient and accurate manufacturing processes.

Salary starts at $70,000 annually + fantastic benefits
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and write CNC programs based on engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing requirements, optimizing programs for maximum efficiency and productivity.
Conduct regular inspections of machined parts to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards, using precision measuring instruments, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges, to verify part dimensions and tolerances.
Identify and troubleshoot machine errors, malfunctions, and quality issues and collaborate with maintenance personnel for complex repairs and improvements.
Set up and operate CNC machines for prove out purposes, including lathes and mills, load programs, adjust machine settings, and monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning, adjusting as needed.
Continuously evaluate and improve CNC machining processes to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle times, and minimize waste, proposing and implementing process modifications, tooling upgrades, or automation solutions to optimize production.
Maintain accurate records of machine settings, tooling changes, and production data, generate reports on machine utilization, productivity, and quality metrics, and provide feedback and recommendations to management for process enhancements.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field OR extensive on the job or trade qualifications relevant job experience.
Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in CNC machining, programming, and operation.
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software.
Certifications in CNC programming and operation.
Strong knowledge of CNC machining principles, tools, and techniques.
Familiarity with various CNC machine types (mills, lathes, etc.) and their operation.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve machining issues and optimize processes.
Ability to perform troubleshooting and maintenance tasks independently.
Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in machining operations.
