SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER FOR FIT BY KATY
As the Social Media Manager you will be responsible for growing the social media team and the social presence for FIT by Katy on social media. You will also manage the development and execution of content across varied mediums: blogs, websites, influencer marketing, facebook groups, etc.
You will be key in organizing and expanding the volume of content for FIT by Katy social media channels. Producing quality content and engaging with our audience and customers is priority number one. You will develop, execute, and manage content strategies built specifically to attract our target audiences. Your objective is to increase company profitability by building brand loyalty and identifying ways to improve customer retention.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop clear and engaging content that is consistent with our existing brand image that addresses both business objectives (website clicks, time on page, conversion rates, etc.) and consumer needs (education, path to purchase assistance, loyalty and/or advocacy)
Analyze content marketing data to identify trends and anticipate new and existing customer needs
Develop (in conjunction with a team) and post thoughtful, engaging content on our social channels multiple times per week
Responsible for content audits to assess how well existing content is performing, and for content gap analyses to determine what type of content is missing and needs to be created
Writing content yourself, as well as delegating tasks to writers and editors and providing feedback
Creating, adjusting, and managing the editorial calendar
Establish style guides that specify the writing style and tone needed to create engaging content and ensure the brand team understands
Grow social media audience across all channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
Manage brand reputation and social listening
Seek opportunities to engage with industry advocates and experts
Manage analytics platforms and continuously optimize social media and content for success
Develops promotional strategy through social channels
Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy
Research and track competitor brands’ social presence
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of experience creating and editing digital content
2+ years of project management experience
Excellent writing skills with ability to write both long form (blogs, landing pages, etc.) and short form (social media posts, product descriptions, digital ads) content
Understanding of the digital landscape and how to create content campaigns that are consistent across all mediums
Creative and innovative thinker who has their eye on upcoming digital trends and is proactively looking to implement them to increase traffic
Data driven with the ability to utilize metrics to help drive successful digital campaigns
Experience managing and developing content
Proven experience in crafting content for brands or social accounts
Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Must be an energetic self-starter, willing to learn, show attention to detail, and possess excellent organizational skills
Ability to function independently and be flexible for interruptions and changing priorities
Personal passion for health + wellness preferred
