Responsibilities:
Nutrition Advocate Consultant will be able to assess clients’ individual needs and tailor behavior modifications, nutritional education, and suggestions to fit their unique lifestyles
Education:
Bachelors degree in nutrition or related field
Certifications in specialty nutrition, health coaching, weight management are not needed but preferred
Requirements:
Provide science-based information
Monitor client habits and make appropriate suggestions
Provide knowledge on a variety of topics:
Portion control, self-monitoring, stimulus control, lapse/relapse prevention, measuring food, grocery shopping, meal preparation, dining outside of the home, exercise & food relation, macronutrients, meal scheduling, and USDA standards
Display a genuine, attentive and compassionate demeanor
Has fantastic listening and problem-solving skills
