LONG HAUL / LAST MILE DRIVER

FLOWER CO. is looking for Long Haul Drivers to join our dedicated, hard-working, fun team! These positions will include travel between Los Angeles and San Diego, within the hours of 10 am to 4 pm. Our vans do not require a commercial license. Our drivers are expected to operate company vehicles safely and pursuant to product regulations. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Deliver goods to various locations in a safe, timely manner
• Maintain consistent reliability for regularly scheduled work hours
• Implement safe and efficient operating procedures while meeting established schedules.
• Assist with the efficient loading and unloading of trucks
• Pre and post-check vehicle to ensure safe transportation, reporting any malfunctions
• Communicate with supervision to receive instructions, report delays or safety hazards, and report accidents/infractions/citations/tickets involving the driver or Company equipment.
• Ensure proper cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the vehicle
• Maintain an acceptable driving record

WHO YOU ARE

• Must be 25 years of age or older and have a valid Class A license
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of commercial driving experience
• 1+ years of driving shifts longer than 6 hours
• 5+ years of safe and competent driving.
• 3+ years of without a loss history
• Ability to communicate with internal and external customers effectively.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, stoop, and kneel frequently
• Ability to operate large vehicles for extended periods of time
