FLOWER CO. is adding Extraction Lab Technicians to help us run our extraction facility at the highest of standards and production requirements. The Extraction Lab Technician will assist in intake and outgoing material, product, and waste. We will provide training on how to operate and maintain the hydrocarbon extraction machine.

Our extraction facility will be a high throughput, fast paced, multitasking environment and requires attention to detail. The Extraction Lab Technician will follow standard operating procedures to operate at a high standard and ensure the quality of end products. Routine maintenance, organization, and cleaning will be performed regularly to ensure smooth, compliant operation of the facility.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Assist in running a hydrocarbon extraction machine (training will be provided)
• Intake plant material with proper handling and documenting
• Prepare plant material for extraction
• Proper disposal of plant material waste
• Documentation of the weights of finished products
• Following Standard Operating Procedures to keep high standards of product quality
• Documentation of processes, batches, and weights
• Maintain Instruments (routine cleaning, fluid changes, seal replacements, cleaning air filters, etc.)
• Safe handling and storage of flammable materials
• Maintain a clean facility
• Wash and sterilize glassware and work surfaces

WHO YOU ARE

• Must be older than 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs safely
• Have taken a hard science class (high school or college) involving hands-on lab experience (chemistry, physics, biology, or related)
• Must not have allergies to cannabis
• Must be familiar with the proper use of standard tools, such as wrenches, sockets, screw drivers, etc.
• Adapts and thrives in a demanding, fast-paced environment
• Great written and verbal communication skills
• Team player
• Positive attitude
• Attention to detail
• Experience in regulated cannabis industry is preferred
