FLOWER CO. is adding an Extraction Technician Assistant to help us run our extraction facility to the highest standards and production requirements. FLOWER CO.'s extraction facility is a high throughput, fast paced, multitasking environment which requires attention to detail. Routine maintenance, organization, and cleaning will be performed by all hands to ensure a smooth, compliant operation.

The Extraction Technician Assistant will follow training and standard operating procedures to assist in the preparation of cannabis material for extraction and the cleaning of glassware, utensils, and instruments.

Responsibilities, duties, pay, and shift time will grow with performance. This is a part time position (24 hours a week) that will grow into a full-time position.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Follow Standard Operating Procedures to keep high standards of quality in product
• Prepare plant material for extraction in the freezer unit
• Plant material waste disposal
• Fill out preparation records completely and accurately
• Safe handling and storage of flammable materials
• Maintain a clean facility
• Wash and sterilize glassware and work surfaces

WHO YOU ARE

• Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid California Driver's license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. safely
• Ability to work in cold temperatures
• Trained and certified in First aid/ CPR
• Must not have allergies to cannabis
• Adapts and thrives in a demanding, fast-paced environment
• Great communication skills
• Eagerness to work in the cannabis space
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Attention to detail
