    Job Description

    FM Industries, a contract manufacturing company in Phoenix, AZ is currently seeking an HR Generalist to become a part of our team! You will be responsible for supporting HR activities for the organization of nearly 200 local employees of a 900 employee company based in Silicon Valley. The ideal candidate is one where Human Resources is a chosen career path and looking to move to the next level in one's career.

    The Human Resources Generalist will join an HR team in a manufacturing environment. This Generalist is responsible for supporting recruiting, new employee onboarding, compensation, job descriptions, and performance management as well as special projects. The current emphasis is on recruiting as we staff up to move to our new building near 24th Street and University.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Facilitates the timely hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with department managers to understand skills and competencies required for the openings. Ensuring job postings are accurate, screening, interviewing and selecting candidates.
    • Facilitates compensation administration, employee development, and performance management.
    • Provides the training of new hires for orientation and may conduct new hire orientation.
    • ADP Workforce Now Current Version experience strongly preferred.
    • Develop and propose improvement to policies, programs, and procedures to improve the effectiveness of human resources and operations.
    • Conducts presentations as needed at company meetings related to HR practices, policies and or research.
    • Performs other duties and project work as assigned.

    • Expert skills in Excel and Word, ADP product knowledge greatly preferred

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or related field and/or
    • 5+ years of HR related experience and proven HR applied proficiency. * PHR certification a plus.
