Role: Sales Consultant
Job Description: As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for generating sales and driving revenue by identifying and engaging potential customers. Your main objective will be to understand clients' needs and offer appropriate products or services to meet those needs. You will work closely with customers throughout the sales process, from initial contact to closing deals and providing post-sales support. Additionally, you will collaborate with the sales team to develop effective strategies and achieve sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and prospect potential customers through various channels & networking, referrals, and lead generation activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their business objectives and providing personalized solutions.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify customer requirements and recommend suitable products or services.
- Present and demonstrate product features and benefits to clients, highlighting how they address their specific needs.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals and negotiate contract terms and pricing with customers.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales strategies, set achievable targets, and track progress towards goals.
- Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new sales opportunities.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales cycle and ensure customer satisfaction post-sales.
- Prepare regular sales reports and maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and deals closed.
- Continuously update product knowledge and stay informed about industry trends and advancements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales or a related field, preferably as a Sales Consultant or in a customer-facing role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and build relationships with customers.
- Excellent listening skills to understand customer needs and identify opportunities.
- Solid negotiation and closing skills to secure deals and achieve sales targets.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software and sales productivity tools.
- Knowledge of the products or services being offered, as well as the industry and market dynamics.
- A proactive and adaptable mindset, with a willingness to learn and adapt to changing business needs.
