Position Overview:
As a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) in a telehealth setting, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive and patient-centered care to individuals and families via virtual consultations. You will utilize your clinical expertise to assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of health conditions while fostering strong patient relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough assessments of patients through telehealth platforms, including obtaining medical histories and performing physical examinations as needed.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions, providing evidence-based medical advice and treatment recommendations.
- Prescribe medications, order laboratory tests, and interpret diagnostic studies.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to patient needs.
- Educate patients and their families about health management, preventive care, and wellness strategies.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and care plans accurately and in a timely manner using our electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the team to ensure comprehensive patient care and continuity of services.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical guidelines, practices, and telehealth technologies to enhance service delivery.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of telehealth protocols and best practices.

Qualifications:

- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) by a recognized board (e.g., ANCC, AANP).
- Valid and unrestricted RN and NP licenses in Texas.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to work independently in a telehealth environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building rapport with patients remotely.
- Proficiency in using telehealth technology and electronic health record systems.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed to meet patient demand.
