Travel Details: Travel: In-state, day travel in a state-owned vehicle is expected, so all candidates must hold a valid driver's license. This position is mostly remote but some projects will require visits to the office or sites to perform a physical installation, approximately once per month. Occasional long hours are possible, but limited, and there will be on-call.

Job Description
The individual will have expertise in a variety of pertinent technologies, including: Windows & Linux operating systems; virtualization; containerization; DevOps infrastructure; Active Directory administration; and PowerShell scripting. The position will also have a key role in systems documentation and vendor management. To accomplish this, the appropriate candidate will utilize strong
interpersonal skills, including superior oral and written communication competences.
In-state, day travel in State-owned vehicles can be expected. Occasional long hours are possible but limited. This is a 100% remote position with office visits as needed monthly to swap on call phone. Applicants must reside within the State of Wisconsin.

Working knowledge of Enterprise Infrastructure industry standards, including data centers, server farms/clusters, storage pools/arrays, networking topologies, and
associated best practices.
Extensive experience with Windows & Linux Server Administration, to include patching, Active Directory integration(including ADFS), LDAP, and Radius
Experience with virtualization administration (such as VMWare ESXi and Citrix XenServer).
Experience with Scripting/Job Automation tools such as PowerShell.
Experience with server hardware and software platforms.
Experience implementing, managing and supporting Citrix Virtual Apps (XenApp) Server Farms.
Experience with web servers, such as WebSphere, IIS, and Apache.
Understanding of Relational Databases, including Oracle and MS SQL Server.
Experience troubleshooting LAN and WAN architecture and protocols.
Experience with cloud-hosted technologies and methodologies.
Strong oral and written communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments concurrently.
