Job Description
FocusKPI, Inc. is looking for a SEO MARKETING ANALYST to work for our client in Mountain View, CA. This is a full-time contract position.
Work Location: Remote in US
Duration: 6 months contract position with potential for extension or conversion.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own forecasting process for organic web traffic goals
- Analyze the business impact of various SEO initiatives including URL migrations, localization enhancements, technical improvements, content additions, etc.
- Maintain Organic Search/SEO Tableau dashboards
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to troubleshoot any data quality issues that arise
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience in analytics/data science fields
- 3+ years of experience in web analytics, preferably with exposure to Organic Search/SEO measurement
- Advanced proficiency in SQL
- Understanding of goal setting/forecasting processes from a technical (i.e. prophet model) and stakeholder management lens
- Ability to measure the impact of Organic Search/SEO initiatives on business results
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders & translating data-driven insights into decisions and actions
- Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-changing environments
- Proficiency in at least one analytics and visualization tool such as Tableau, Mode, Looker, etc.
- Experience in using at least one scripting language (Python, R, HTML, etc.)
- An advanced degree in a quantitative discipline, such as statistics, economics, mathematics, or computer science
