Position Overview
As a Front of House #2 Assistant at Sessions West Coast Deli, you’re stepping into a key support role designed to bridge daily execution with future leadership. This position is ideal for someone with 6+ months of restaurant and customer service experience who’s looking to grow into a management track through hands-on mentorship.
You’ll work closely under the FOH Leader, learning core responsibilities like staff scheduling, product ordering, and inventory control, while still actively supporting frontline service. It’s a great opportunity for someone who wants to lead by example, stay close to the action, and develop the operational knowledge to level up.
Key Responsibilities
Support FOH Leader with shift operations, guest service, and team coordination
Deliver consistent, friendly, and fast counter service during rush and slower periods
Monitor and restock FOH supplies, prep beverages, and maintain station cleanliness
Assist in onboarding and mentoring new hires under FOH Leader guidance
Help manage third-party delivery orders and service flow accuracy
Shadow responsibilities like schedule building, inventory logging, and order placement
Uphold FOH standards and redirect team when needed with professionalism
Log shift notes, communicate key updates, and escalate guest issues as needed
Qualifications
6+ months of customer service and restaurant experience (required)
Previous leadership or supervisory experience recommended but not required
Strong multitasking, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow direction while developing confidence in decision-making
Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Reliable, punctual, and solution-focused

FOH Restaurant Manager Assistant Requirements:
· High school diploma or GED.
· The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
· The ability to stand for extended periods.
· The ability to lift 50lbs or more.
· Strong management skills.
· Excellent organizational skills.
· Effective communication skills.
· Exceptional customer service skills
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
· A minimum of 6 months experience as a FOH Manager in a hospitality or retail environment. Previous restaurant experience preferred.
