Associate Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

Looking to practice veterinary medicine in a private, locally owned and fast growing practice? Recently expanded, we are ready to grow our work family and team by adding another dedicated veterinarian to our practice. We're looking for someone who seeks to serve the veterinary needs of our community while also committed to their own individual, professional growth.

Essential responsibilities of the position:

Perform examinations, diagnosis and treatment, including surgery, for small animal patients.

Communicate with owners the recommendations for care and treatment of their pets

Work closely with all hospital staff to ensure proper flow of patient care through the clinic.

Work closely and in a friendly and open manner with all hospital staff to perform necessary daily tasks.

Use initiative/thinking skills to help problem solve

Utilize continuing education opportunities to hone skills, provide quality medicine, and develop professional interests.

Requirements of the position:

Degree in Veterinary Medicine

License to practice Veterinary Medicine in the state of Minnesota

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with positive outlook

Analytical thinking skills and ability to problem solve

Passion for animal care and owner education
