Functional Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts with clamp attachments to handle and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Distinguish between grades of paper and film to allocate materials to appropriate machines.
- Receive inbound materials, ensuring accuracy and proper storage procedures.
- Assist with monthly inventory counts and input data accurately into computer systems.
- Maintain compliance with company safety policies, HACCP, GMPs, and SQF standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned, including lifting up to 35 lbs.
Functional Requirements
- Operate and maintain forklift equipment with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Ability to perform tasks involving bending, stooping, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
- Effective communication skills to share information with supervisors and teammates.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a forklift operator, with specific expertise in clamp attachments.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality standards.
