Jackson Tumble Finish, a leading metal finishing company in Jackson, Michigan, is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Driver to join our dynamic team on second shift. As a vital part of our operations, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials, parts, and finished goods throughout our facility.

Responsibilities: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries, including performing daily forklift inspections and reporting any mechanical issues promptly.

Safely operate forklift to load, unload, stack, and transport materials, parts, and finished products within the warehouse and production areas.

Unload parts and bins from incoming areas and efficiently transport them to designated lines, stacking them in assigned places.

Locate and move stock of bins to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.

Identify part numbers and lot numbers to ensure accurate segregation and placement of materials.

Conduct quality checks on incoming and outgoing materials to identify any damage or discrepancies and report shortages or quality deficiencies immediately.

Transport raw materials to production workstations to ensure a continuous and efficient workflow.

Drive with caution, using the horn, consistently watching out for pedestrians and other drivers within the facility.

Perform regular maintenance checks on the forklift to determine the need for repairs and guarantee operational safety.

Keep updated records and activity logs of all material movements.

Comply with all company policies and legal guidelines relevant to forklift operation and warehouse safety.

Help maintain a safe and orderly environment within the facilities.

Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other personnel to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operations.
