    Company Overview

    Zeus Fire & Security was formed in 2021 as a platform business to partner with leading fire safety and security operators in premier U.S. and Canadian markets across North America. In partnership with private equity firm Access Holdings (“Access”), Zeus will conduct a high velocity buy-and-build and value creation strategy to support and create a leader in the fire safety and security market. In 2022, Zeus acquired Alert Alarm Holdings (“Alert”) and Universal Atlantic Systems (“UAS”). Alert operates under Alert Alarm (based out of Hawaii) and SMG Security (based out of Chicago) brands. These two operating subsidiaries provide integration, monitoring, managed services, inspections, and maintenance & repairs for fire systems including fire alarms, sprinklers, and suppression and security systems including intrusion alarms, CCTV cameras, and access control for commercial, high-end residential and gov't and military clients. UAS is based out of Paoli, PA (just outside Philadelphia) and is a premier provider of Video Surveillance-as-a-Service focused on national accounts. They also provide managed services, monitoring and verification for low-voltage fire and intrusion systems, and access control, serving the Quick-Serve Restaurant, Big-Box-Retail and Outdoor Protection Industries. UAS protects $15B of assets for a customer base that is 100% commercial and includes businesses such as McDonalds, Panera, Five Guys, United Rentals, and Pizza Hut.

    Role Overview

    The FP&A Analyst's responsibilities include assisting with executing the sales commission program, financial planning and budgeting processes, analyzing financial statements and reports, developing financial models, preparing projections, and performing research and analysis as may be required by Company leadership. This function will be responsible for executing on the sales commission process under direction from FP&A leadership across the enterprise. The role requires the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines, extreme attention to detail, and consistently accurate, high-quality financial analyses.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual sales commission process

    • Support corporate consolidation analyses and reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to support bank and management reporting

    • Conduct analyses and reporting for corporate functions including, monthly financial analysis, reforecasting, variance analysis, pipeline analysis, and graphical summaries of business unit financial performance

    • Develop, track and report on key performance indicator's (KPI's).

    • Assist in the development of a formal annual budgeting and rolling forecasting process across the enterprise. Provide training and guidance across the enterprise for budgeting tools and models.

    • Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and automation to the budgeting and forecasting process

    • Support the implementation of budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting tools

    • Develop, track and report on key performance indicator's (KPI's)

    • Support cash flow forecasting and modeling.

    • Other ad-hoc financial analyses including building financial models, customer analysis, job performance, sales performance, operating expenses, and other areas as required.

    • Perform periodical or ad hoc financial data analysis, queries, reconciliations, and reports as needed or to satisfy external client or audit requests.

    • Support initiatives targeted at financial process improvement and the implementation of changes to achieve efficiencies and the company's objectives in the areas of project billing, contract compliance and reporting, indirect cost recovery, financial reporting, and analysis.

    • Support mergers and acquisitions with financial analysis and integration.

    • Work collaboratively with the CFO, VP of Finance, FP&A, Controller, and Corporate Development teams.

    • Prepares and maintains process documentation, process control narratives, and training materials for new employees.

    • Maintain company confidentiality at all times.

    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting Economics, or a related field

    2. High proficiency in MS excels (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, tables, and graph production) and in MS PowerPoint

    3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software

    4. Strong analytical skills

    5. Must be able to multitask and meet deadlines

    6. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

    7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    8. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
