    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled System Engineer to support our clients' infrastructures remotely with their Windows Server, Exchange Server, SQL Server, IIS Servers as well as DNS, DHCP, AD, LDAP, and ADFS Systems. The primary responsibilities of the System Engineer will be to troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to Windows Servers and related components in order to ensure the availability, reliability, sustainability and operation of IT Servers' software applications, and all other IT related peripherals. The ideal candidate will resolve issues remotely for our clients' sites in a professional and timely manner. This includes serving as a Tier III escalation point for issues that develop into complex issues or require a higher technical guidance. Our System Engineers are part of our Systems Consulting Services team working to support our client sites in the greater Los Angeles area. The ideal candidate will have experience both in professional consulting and technical skills. The goal is to ensure success for themselves and our clients.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Perform advanced troubleshooting and resolution support services on clients' core Windows Server platforms

    • Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues

    • Develop and prepare / provide documentation of business user requirements and processes

    • Manage and maintain the health and "up-time" of client systems

    • Optimize client system performance meeting QOC metrics per client SLA's

    • Perform setup and configuration services on clients core Windows Servers

    • Perform System Administrator level tasks for the core Windows Server Stack in order to maintain system performance

    • Consistently communicate with team members and clients professionally (both verbally and via email)

    • Provide remote helpdesk support to clients as needed

    • Create, use, and maintain FPA documentation

    • Track detailed time entries of work performed daily

    • Grow both technically and professionally TYPICAL MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • 5-10 years' experience implementing, supporting, and troubleshooting multi-server Windows Domain environments

    • 5-10 years' experience support and troubleshooting Windows Domain desktops

    • Deep knowledge and experience supporting and troubleshooting firewalls, Managed Switches, and VMWare and Virtualization technologies

    • Deep knowledge and experience implementing, administering, and supporting the following technologies: MS-Windows Server, MS-Exchange Server, MS-Windows RDS Server, MS-SQL Server, MS-IIS Server, MS-Active Directory, MS Group Policy, MS-Windows Professional & Enterprise+

    • Strong experience working directly with clients to satisfy ongoing requests

    • Experience working directly with technical managers as well as non-technical end users

    • Fluent in Client Service concepts
