Job Description
Family owned and operated, manufacturing company located in beautiful horse country, Ocala, FL is looking for a COST ACCOUNTANT.

THE COST/INVENTORY ACCOUNTANT WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Planning/collecting of data to determine costs of business activity (raw material, labor, overhead, etc.)
- Monitoring/reviewing material prices and outcomes
- Evaluating/recommending changes to improve efficiency/effectiveness
- Periodic physical inventory & the cycle count process
- Inventory discrepancy research/reconciliation
- Assistance with implementation & maintenance of the company’s new cost accounting system
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting
- 2-3 years of cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
