Today, this privately-held American company continues to serve the biophysical, biochemical, and bioenergetics fields with absorbance, fluorescence, and circular dichroism spectroscopy for sophisticated research and routine measurements.

As a Scientific Sales Rep, you will play a pivotal role in connecting our groundbreaking technologies with the scientific community, driving growth, and shaping the future of scientific research.     Responsibilities:

    1. Master of the Art:Become an expert in our clients cutting-edge spectroscopy solutions and their applications across biophysical, biochemical, and bioenergetics research fields.

    2. Business Expansion Expert: Proactively identify potential customers and market segments, particularly through cold calling and other lead generation strategies, to expand the customer base and increase sales opportunities.

    3. Strategic Outreach:Identify and engage with key stakeholders, including researchers, professors, lab managers, and industry leaders to understand their specific needs and demonstrate how our instruments can revolutionize their work.

    4. Stellar Salesmanship:Develop and execute innovative sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets. Utilize your creativity to craft compelling presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations that showcase the power and versatility of our instruments.

    5. Market Insights: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, scientific advancements, and competitor activities. Continuously assess market needs and provide valuable feedback to the team to drive product enhancements and new development initiatives.

    6. Sales Pipeline Management: Utilize CRM tools to track and manage sales activities, customer interactions, and deal progression. Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all sales-related activities.

    Requirements:

    • Proven track record of success in B2B complex sales. Required.

    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Ability to convey complex scientific concepts in a clear and engaging manner. Required.

    • Willingness to travel to attend conferences, and represent the company at industry events. Required.

    • A strong scientific background (characterization of molecules, color measurements, proteins as it relates to Spectrophotometry) will be advantageous.
      Preferred. 

    • Familiarized with Salesforce. Preferred.

    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and engage with a diverse range of professionals in the scientific community.

    • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a passion for driving growth and making a significant impact in the scientific research community.

    • Innovative and creative mindset, constantly seeking new ways to differentiate the company products in the market.
