    Job Description

    The Regional Recruiter is an accomplished, first-rate customer service activistandsuperb relationship builder and manager,responsible for performing full life-cycle recruiting tasks and developing and executing recruitingstrategies to deliver suitable job candidates for available positions located within an assigned region.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Full-Cycle Regional Recruiting 1. Requisition Management
      1. Review all assigned draft job requisitions for completeness and accuracy, making an approval decision and ensuring the approved, active requisition is posted to the appropriate career sites.
      2. Conduct a follow-up(intake)meeting with the Hiring Manager to identify any unique attributes or challenges to their worksite, and to define the ideal candidate profile.
      3. Review all selected external paid posting options with the Hiring Manager to encourage the best ROI for the property’s advertising budget. Submit a request through ticketing to the Recruiting Assistant to post the open position on any additionally requested websites.
      4. Regularly promote the Company brand and all open positions within assigned region utilizing various platforms, including but not limited to: Social Media, Clubs/Associations, Schools, media outlets, etc..
        1. Hiring Manager Partnership
      5. Maintain contact with the Hiring Manager throughout therecruiting process, in particular theinterviewing and offerstages, following upregularly to ensuretimely follow-up with candidates and compliance with established procedures.
      6. Communicate and resolve hiring policy and procedure compliance issues with Hiring Managers.
        1. Candidate Partnership
      7. Be the primary contact for the candidate throughout the recruiting process, following up during and after the interview and offer stages.
      8. Conduct a thorough review of all submitted employment applications, for completeness and job requisition match, and disposition candidates appropriately in the ATS platform.
      9. Source additional candidates, as needed, from a variety of sources, including but not limited to: ATS database, employee referrals, competitors, industry partners, internet job boards, social media, personal networks, career fairs, etc..
      10. Schedule and conduct phone screenings and preliminary interviews, preferably by video call, to determine candidate skills, knowledge and abilities (SKAs)and desirable behavioral traits, short-listing the most qualified candidates.
      11. Refer all short-listed candidates to the Hiring Manager for formal interview. Following up to ensure timely action, offering assistance if needed.
      12. Foster an engaged candidate pipeline by establishing and sustaining relationships with both external and internal applicants.
        1. Offer Management
      13. Conduct a thorough review of all offer requests. Follow-up with the Hiring Manager in a timely manner to resolve any questions or discrepancies prior to extending a formal offer letter to the candidate.
      14. Draft the formal offer letter in the ATS platform. Submit to theappropriate approverfor reviewand approval.
      15. Follow-up with the candidate to ensure receipt and answer any questions or resolve any challenges.
        1. Pre-Employment Screening Process Support
      16. Help answer any questions or resolve any challenges the candidate may have/encounter, deferring to the appropriate Pre-Employment associate,as required. Follow-up with the candidate, if needed.
        1. New Hire Onboard/Internal Movement Processes Support
      17. Help answer any questions or resolve any challenges the candidate may have/encounter, deferring to the appropriate Onboarding associate, if needed. Follow-up with the candidate as necessary.
        1. Additional Recruiting Activities
      18. Run standard reports forassigned region to determine; aging requisitions (45 days, 60 days, 90+ days),regional recruiting metrics, candidate status, etc..
      19. Provide internal and external career fair coordination and support. Attend as needed/requested.
      20. Conduct periodic market research in assigned region to identify; recruiting trends, labor market and wage trends, new candidate sources, outreach and partnership opportunities, and other opportunities or resources which may help to increase company visibility, candidate reach, etc..
    2. Recruitment Operations Support 1. Projects/Process Improvement
      1. Assist in the development and implementation of recruitment programs (employee referrals, community outreach, colleges/trade schools, etc.).
      2. Recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy that must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation.
      3. Use project management skills in managing projects. May provide overall project management for a given HR initiative.

      4. Assist all FPI Staff with issues related to the Hiring processes.
      5. Prepare presentations for delivery to specific audiences.
      6. Act as a resource and subject matter expert for best practices.
      7. Respond to all employee requests and questions in a timely manner and with a customer-service oriented mindset. Requests and questions could come from a variety of sources: phone, email, ticketing, in-person, etc., and responses require a high level of professionalism and tact.

      9. Partner with other Human Resources and/or Operations staff to resolve cross-functional issues.

Promote a professional image by adhering to FPI Management's Dress Code Policy. 4. Conduct displayed must be of a professional manner when communicating with employees, residents, prospective residents, clients, vendors, and guests while representing FPI Management. 5. Responsible for meeting all training requirements for the position(Grace Hill, Safety Meetings, etc.). 6. Perform any and all functions as directed by the supervisor, including special project assistance.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Minimum of 3 years' high-volume, nationwide, virtual Recruiting experience, either in a Corporate or Staffing Agency environment; a combination of both is preferred, and with a large group of Hiring Managers. Recruiting experience within a Property Management organization is highly preferred.
    • High School diploma or equivalent required, 4-year college degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
    • Valid Driver's License, a good driving record, current motor vehicle insurance which meets State requirements, and an operable vehicle that meets FPI's Driving Standards and Personal Vehicle Use policy.
    • Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English. Bilingual Spanish, preferred.
    • Strong computer skills (MS Office, Google Suite, Adobe, email, internet, etc.) and experience with various Applicant Tracking Systems (ADP, UltiPro/UKG, etc.) and job advertising resources, including social media.
    • Strong working knowledge of Federal and individual State labor and employment laws.
    • Strong familiarity with the current recruiting landscape within the assigned region and has a proven track record of successful placement of qualified candidates for a variety of roles.
    • Position is telecommuting approved. Working from home requires a high degree of discipline and the ability and set-up to have a space dedicated to work in the home and to efficiently and ergonomically perform their essential job duties, and must be able to abide by FPI's Telecommuting policies.
