Job Description: We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Italian cuisine, exceptional culinary skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with our Executive Chef to ensure the highest quality of food and service.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations
• Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality and consistency
• Work a station on the line during peak times
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain kitchen equipment
• Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant
• Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
