The Real Estate Social Media Specialist works to develop and implement all facets of creative development, marketing plan implementation and project management for all social media marketing initiatives. The success will be measured by user engagement, brand awareness and audience growth. The Social Media Specialist should be comfortable owning tasks from conception all the way to testing and execution. This is a highly visible role that will report to the COO will communicate with management on a regular basis regarding content schedule and production, social strategy + analytics, trends and audience growth. You will translate our brand voice into a social voice and will manage the daily postings promoting our content, open house events, and overall organization. Lastly, you are responsible for testing and measurement, optimizing for what drives engagement and reporting back the impact of social media on the business growth. Personal attributes of the Social Media Specialist include but are not limited to the following: maintains a professional demeanor in high-stress situations; is ambitious, has an open mind, creative, and able to formulate and present out-of-the-box ideas; detail oriented; self-starter with a strong desire to excel; quick learner and not afraid to ask questions and operates effectively in a fast paced and at times, high stress environment. Compensation: $45,000 - $55,000 (depends on experience) Responsibilities: RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: • Create daily posts for social platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Youtube) • Create, test, track and monitor Paid Facebook / IG Ads • Create graphic content for social using Adobe InDesign/Illustrator/Photoshop, Canva or other creative programs • Shoot and edit video • Develop, implement, execute and report on an integrated strategy to grow the company's social media audience, social engagement and web traffic • Manage a weekly monthly content calendar • Plan and execute content strategy through your market analysis research and input from upper management • Help establish a "voice" to differentiate our company as the leading, local expert apart from others • Pitch, write and optimize regular blog columns driven by real estate topics and SEO • Interact with audience on social and blog • Analyze the long-term needs of the company’s social media strategy and offer monthly reports to the management that outline any necessary changes to the digital marketing plan • Analyze and report social media analytics to editorial, digital, and marketing teams to inform decision making and determine best practices • Partner cross-functionally to promote social efforts across channels (on site, email) and departments (ad ops, marketing, events) • Research and keep up to date on social media trends, tactics and competition • Position reports directly to COO. Develop and maintain social media marketing initiatives under the direction of the COO Qualifications: • 3+ years of experience in managing all facets of digital marketing and/or social media strategy • Real estate experience a PLUS • 3+ years Facebook and Instagram Advertising experience • 2+ years of Graphic Design experience • SEO / SEM experience • Video Editing w/Adobe Premiere Pro experience is a PLUS • Strong experience with and in-depth knowledge of social media platforms and their respective participants • Ability to balance the creative side of marketing with the analytical side • Excellent written, interpersonal and verbal communications skills • Strong visual and brand aesthetic • Able to see projects through from inception to execution with limited oversight • Exceptional multi-tasker • Strategic thinker, able to effectively formulate and execute marketing campaigns to help the company in achieving its goals • Able to assess a situation, determine what needs to be done and do it • Proficient in utilizing tracking and measuring tools • Highly proficient with Hootsuite • Effective in time management and is diligent and timely in completing projects • Bachelor's degree or 4 year university required • Highly proficient with MAC OS, Numbers, Keynote, Excel Compensation: $45,000 - $55,000 based on your experience and skill level
