RESPONSIBILITIESINCLUDE
Plan and execute procurement of raw materials from global suppliers
Support manufacture of complex custom computers with typically 3-7 components
Establish and maintain production schedule based on material availability and order priority
Maintain all purchase orders and schedules to support production expectations
Coordinate balanced purchasing of materials to supply both inventories and feed active orders
Establish Bill of Materials in ERP system from sales worksheets and purchase orders
Maintain strong working relationships and communication with key suppliers: negotiations and expectations
Identify unique sources and alternate suppliers for unusual or rare components
Participate in inventory selection and sales operation support programs
Oversee inventory management
Utilize Customer Service Assistant in communications, product search, and other tasks as necessary
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operation, Supply Chain and 5 years experience in manufacturing goods with multiple components
Minimum 3 years of Planning and Procurement in a similar environment
KNOWLEDGE ANDSKILLS
Fishbowl ERP experience preferred
Professional certifications in place or in progress (APICS, CPIM/CSCP, CPSM)
Strong analytical, planning, and organization skills
Effective negotiation skills with the ability to support and defend quality standards
Work independently, occasionally under pressure, and react quickly to changing priorities
Advanced abilities with Microsoft Excel, knowledge of QuickBooks
