    ABOUT THE ROLE

    We are currently looking for our next shining Robotics Lab Technician to join our team for one of our clients located in San Jose, California. If you are ready to be a part of something innovative, exciting, with worldwide impact, we want to talk with you.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage inventory of hardware components, equipment, products, and other supplies.
    • Responsible for understanding, cataloging, and managing all hardware, component, and physical inventory associated with the lab.
    • Select and procure new equipment, spare parts, and supplies.
    • Proactively maintain supplies of hardware components, equipment, etc. to Client’s expectations. Highlight all potential shortages and proactively work to ensure minimal interruption to operations.
    • Deploy and manage compliance with regulatory requirements specific to the equipment and the lab. Responsible for reading and understanding all FS Studio and Client safety policies and procedures and will ensure all safety measures are in place for all lab equipment.
    • Responsible for understanding all requirements around lab equipment, including maintenance and calibration schedules and ensure all requirements are met to ensure consistent operations of the lab with minimal to no disruptions.
    • Train researchers, engineers, and other staff on equipment usage, lab practices
    • As the subject matter expert on the safe operation of Robotics hardware and equipment, you will be responsible for training all personnel or extended work force on the proper use of hardware, equipment, or lab facilities.
    • Work with client to help identify gaps in the current hardware or equipment set up and work with the Project Manager to outline requests for new hardware, equipment, etc. that would improve the overall lab setup or operational efficiency of Robotics.
    • Conduct experiments as specified by Client relating to hardware, software, or system integration. Fully document all experiments and outcomes and escalate any deviations or problems to the Project Manager.
    • Assist lab members in testing new robotic systems, software, or user interfaces.
    • Other duties may be assigned as required per business needs.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Bachelors Degree, with two years of experience

    Associates Degree, with three years of experience
