    Job Summary

    We are a privately owned dental office in Dunkirk, MD seeking a FT qualified and caring Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team! As a RDH at Gentle Family Dentistry, you will provide top-notch dental care that makes our patients feel like family. You will screen patients, perform dental cleanings, and evaluate for signs of disease, caries or infection. Candidate should have an active license to practice in Maryland. Experience with Eagle soft, laser, and intra-oral camera preferred, but not required. New graduates welcome to apply!     Responsibilities

    Perform preliminary exams and collect oral health histories

    Perform routine dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing to maintain oral health.

    Evaluate patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infection

    Assist in diagnosing and treating periodontal conditions in collaboration with the dentist.

    Remove plaque and apply fluoride treatments

    Teach good oral hygiene techniques

    Capture digital x-rays and document findings accurately in patient records

    Take intraoral photos

    Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies

    Maintain strict infection control procedures and ensure compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations.

    Collaborate with the dental team to develop and implement treatment plans

    Qualifications

    Current Maryland Dental Hygiene license

    2 years experience preferred, new graduates welcome to apply

    $65 per hour with potential for large increase
