The Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club is looking for a fulltime Tennis Maintenance Technician at the Athletic Center.

POSITION SUMMARY: Maintains daily maintenance of courts, areas adjacent to courts, and buildings on the property; maintains and repairs tennis maintenance machines and equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Rolls, brushes surface, and sweeps lines of Har Tru Hydrocourts
• Assures that courts receive proper water, either through controlling Har Tru Hydrocourt valves or by applying water to courts with the use of hoses.
• Builds up low spots, shaves high spots, dusts, (plugs feathers material) on all Har Tru courts
• Keeps court tapes, nets, fences, tidy courts, light poles, rest areas and gates in good condition
• Applies calcium chloride on Har Tru courts, as directed
• Blows sidewalks; empties trash from court and facility receptacles
• Maintains drinking fountains and tennis shoe cleaners
• Cleans all windows and door glass of smudges daily (vacuums)
• Blows and cleans terrace areas. Puts chairs in neat order and empties ashtrays
• Replenishes supplies as directed by the Director of Club Operations
• Trims grass at court edges, and prevents weed growth at court edges and on courts
• Cleans court drainage gutters, drains, and catch basins
• Installs, takes down, and repairs court wind screens as needed and dictated by wind conditions
• Changes court lights as needed and responsible for proper maintenance of timers
• Keeps desk personnel informed as to court conditions
• Empties all trash, including deli trash, and removes it to appropriate dumpster
• Thoroughly cleans all locker rooms, damp mop floor, cleans fixtures and replaces supplies
• Performs high and low dusting, as directed by Director of Club Operations
• Performs any additional tasks needed to keep tennis courts, buildings and surrounding areas in good order
• Tunes, changes oil, greases and fuels maintenance machines and equipment
• Repairs machines and replaces defective or worn parts of all maintenance machines
• Arranges for any special machine maintenance or repair that requires outside resources
• Orders and picks up maintenance machine parts and fuel
• Delivers machines to repair shops for overhauls and picks up machine when ready
• Order and picks up facility supplies as directed by the Director of Club Operations
