We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Merchant Services Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales team. As a Merchant Services Sales manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of sales professionals focused on selling merchant services and payment processing solutions to businesses of all sizes. Your primary goal will be to drive revenue growth, build strong customer relationships, and exceed sales targets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: other duties may be assigned.
· Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve sales goals and targets.
· Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to increase market share and revenue.
· Establish and maintain relationships with key clients and partners, Payment processors, financial institutions, and industry associations.
· Identify new business opportunities and develop sales pipelines to drive revenue growth.
· Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and training to the sales team to improve their skills and performance.
· Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors’ activities to develop effective sales strategies.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure a seamless customer experience.
· Prepare regular sales reports and forecast for management review.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university and five or more years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; exhibits strong analysis and financial assessment skills; has general knowledge of Merchant Processing and credit policies, procedures, practices and documentation; excellent written, verbal, interpersonal communication and presentation skills; ability to work with individuals and groups across the company to manage client relationships; proficiency with personal computers and related software packages such as Word and Excel; aptitude for growing business acumen and making data-driven decisions.
OTHER SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
Computer skills essential, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Requires initiative and solid judgement with oral/written communication skills including facilitation. Ability to prioritize work and remain adaptable under pressure.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries of complaints of customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
