    Under Armour Performance Centers

    In 2010, local sportswear company Under Armour enlisted FX Studios to design and operate Under Armour's first, on-campus gym: the original Under Armour Performance Center. These gyms are state of the art fitness venues combining Under Armour's mission to make athletes better with the FX Fitness training model to create an exercise experience that is unparalleled in the industry.

    Job Description

    FX Studios & Under Armour Performance Center is looking for a skilled and self-motivated Marketing intern to join our dedicated in-house marketing team in Downtown Baltimore. The intern will collaborate with the marketing manager in all stages of marketing campaigns and help develop, expand, and maintain marketing channels. The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for social media and design and help develop the awareness of the company. We are looking for a student or recent graduate who is highly motivated and can function both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. We're a small team, and everyone works together to move the organization forward at a fast pace.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

    • Social Media (40%):

    • Draft, edit, and schedule day-to-day content for all our company's social media media accounts.

    • Help coordinate social media calendar, brainstorm and generate ideas and pitches for social media marketing campaigns and/or strategies.

    • Utilize social listening to measure sentiment and conversations.

    • Monitor social channels for latest trends and developments in the industry, then capitalize on those findings through our social media accounts.

    • Assist with the monitoring and analysis of social media metrics.

    • Capture content (video and photo) to distribute on social media and often times via email

    • Graphic Design (40%):

    • Assist in preparing photo files.

    • Photo editing, cropping, and retouching.

    • Contributing to the creation and organization of brand assets.

    • Create compelling visual content for the company's website, promotional imagery, flyers, print materials, emails, and more.

    • Create multimedia content for company platforms.

    • Marketing (20%):

    • Track, analyze, and report ROI results from all marketing promotions and initiatives.

    • Provide general support to the Marketing Manager as needed.

    SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    • Working knowledge with major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, etc.)
    • Experience with capturing photo and video content
    • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
    • Familiarity of various marketing computer software and online applications (e.g. CRM tools, online analytics, Project Management Systems, Google AdWords, etc.)
    • Experience with video editing software (Final Cut, Adobe Premier, Wistia, Soapbox etc.)
    • Ability to prioritize and work independently and collaboratively
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Passion for health, wellness, and the fitness industry
    • Attention to detail, excellent spelling, and grammar
    • Ability to monitor and troubleshoot project timelines
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Self-motivated, driven, and passionate

    EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Flexible work schedule
    • Familiarity with social media strategies and platforms
    • Experience with content creation a plus (personal or professionally)
    • A Bachelor's degree in marketing/communications/public relations or similar (currently enrolled or recent graduate, but comparable professional experience can serve in place of education)
