    SUMMARY

    The UI/UX Designer is a critical role in the FX Well team and will work closely with Marketing Creative and Product Development teams. They need to be competent in all of facets of the design process, and exceptionally talented and skilled in Interaction and Information Architecture Design. FX Well is looking for passionate teammates who possess a strong work ethic and thrive while working in a startup environment.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responsible for the execution and delivery of creative design deliverables

    • Perform competitive analysis and research for projects

    • Research and analyze industry UI/UX trends and competitor platforms and strategies

    • Create and revise information architecture documents and diagrams including but not limited to: content diagrams, content maps, wire-frame diagrams,comprehensive diagrams and static prototypes

    • Assist with ongoing usability testing and assessment

    • Work with internal teams to design and build user-friendly forms/ applications/interfaces based on functional specifications

    • Participate in key internal meetings including weekly status updates and planning sessions

    • Documenting ongoing progress, code migrations and status on work assignments with direct manager during regular update cadence

    • Conduct & facilitate requirements, design, and implementation reviews

    • Review user adoption of deliverables and acceptance testing

    • Ensure all versions of project UI/UX documents are complete, current, and stored/ archived appropriately

    • Present all documentation to internal teams

    • Create user-facing “how to” videos, manuals, and guides on how to use the platform once launched

    • Assist the FX Well creative team with ad-hoc graphic design projects

    • Other tasks and duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES, AND REQUIREMENTS

    • Education: Bachelor and/or Master Degree in a Relevant Field of Study (i.e. Human Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Graphic Design, New Media, Engineering, Liberal Arts, etc.)

    • Familiar with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS design capabilities

    • Fluent in responsive design, mobile/tablet UI/UX

    • 3-4 years of UI/UX design experience as a key, hands-on interaction/visual designer of a UI/UX team through the product development cycle of successfully launched web, mobile, and/or software applications

    • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, InVision, Sketch, or other visual design and wireframing tools

    • Portfolio highlighting advanced UI/UX skill

    • Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities with exceptional attention to detail

    • Ability to successfully overcome challenges or obstacles

    • Experienced at driving a user experience from start-to-finish that delivers results, and connects emotionally

    • Obsessed with good user-centered design practices and have an eye for detail

    • Ability to connect the dots between business needs, innovation and good design

    • Willingness to whiteboard, document and lead design interactions with Product and Development to derive innovative solutions
