FYR Diagnostics is a fast-growing Missoula, MT-based biotechnology company developing a powerful portfolio of biomarker detection technologies. FYR Diagnostics’ mission is to commercialize and implement these novel technologies to enable the accelerated diagnosis of human diseases.  

FYR Diagnostics is currently seeking a Part-Time Lab Assistant to assist with COVID-19 testing logistics in the evenings and on Saturdays. This position may be an ideal fit for students or those who desire a better work/life balance.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Assemble test kits for distribution to our clinical partners 

• Intake and prepare clinical samples for testing  

• Help with lab upkeep and organization 

• Communicate and work together as a team to anticipate and resolve issues 

• Receive clinical samples and packages 

• Manage calls and texts to our customer support phone line

CORE REQUIREMENTS:  

• Ability to lift up to 15 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations 

• Ability to use multiple computer programs at one time

NICE-TO-HAVE:  

• Experience working with and handling personal health information 

• Experience in a clinical laboratory setting, including handling clinical samples  

• Education in a scientific field 

• Experience in sterile technique 

• Research lab experience

TYPICAL HOURS:  

• Tuesday-Friday  4:00pm-8:00pm 

• Saturday  8:00am-12:00pm
