    FYZICAL is currently seeking a full-time licensed Audiologist to join our team.

    Audiologists at FYZICAL Therapy and Balance Centers work side by side with Physical Therapists to diagnose, treat and care for patients with balance disorders and dizziness complaints. They also engage in traditional hearing management/conservation programs including diagnostic hearing testing, device fitting and tinnitus management programs. We are looking for Practitioners who are interested in utilizing a well-rounded diagnostic testing base including: Videonystagmography (VNG) testing, Platform Balance Testing and Hearing Testing and Device Fitting Services for our amazing patient/client base!

    Essential Functions:

    Evaluates and conservatively treats vestibular impairments, affecting balance and dizziness, determines type and degree of impairment, site of damage and effects on gait and mobility.

    Evaluates patients’ audiologic needs, determining type and degree of hearing impairment, site of damage and effects on comprehension and speech.

    Maintains knowledge and understanding of various hearing aid and assistive technology as well as expertise in the selling, fitting and troubleshooting of said technology.

    Completes and submits all reports, documentation and notes pertaining to patient care.

    Maintains a patient treatment schedule consistent with the needs of the facility.

    Confers with the person(s) most closely associated with the active management of the patient and keeps them informed of any additional patient needs, treatment modification and/or progress.

    Treats patients of any age, race, creed, gender and disability without bias or prejudice.

    Respects and understands the patient’s right to treatment and right to involvement in treatment decisions.

    Instills confidence in patients, doctors and personnel through informed and proven applications of Audiology.

    Conducts self with integrity, professional dignity, empathy, adaptability and tact.

    Adheres to Company policies and procedures at all times.

    Qualifications:

    State license to practice and any additional requirements by the state.

    Graduate of an accredited Audiology doctoral program.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
