FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers is a leading provider of physical therapy, rehabilitation, balance and vestibular rehabilitation and athletic training services. We are a value driven, hospitality based organization seeking to provide the highest caliber of rehabilitation services possible.

Job Summary

Reports to assigned Physical Therapist. Performs physical therapy treatments to restore function, prevent disability and maximize potential and quality of life following disease, injury or surgery. Our therapists will be specially trained for vestibular rehabilitation and balance therapy.

Job Specifications

Education and Experience

The knowledge, skills, and abilities as indicated below are normally acquired through the successful completion of an Associate’s Degree. An active Physical Therapist Assistant license is required. Experience working in an outpatient clinic is preferred. Experience working with orthopedic patients, neurological patients, and wound care patients is recommended.

Knowledge & Skills

Has ability to function independently in an environment that demands a high level of judgment and decision making with minimal direct supervision.

Accepts responsibility and accountability for own actions.

Organizes workload efficiently.

Vestibular Rehabilitation and Balance Therapy experience preferred but not required.

EMR or "Electronic Medical Records" knowledge is preferred.

Professional appearance and the ability to eloquently interact with patients and their family members.

Working Conditions

Has potential exposure to infectious diseases.

Physical Demands

Requires the physical ability and stamina (i.e. to walk/stand for prolonged periods of time, push carts/wheelchairs up to 50 pounds, to position/lift patients at a maximum of 35 pounds unassisted, over 35 pounds requires assistance, provide CPR, etc.) to perform the essential functions of the position.
