    Job Description

    Reports to assigned Physical Therapist. Performs physical therapy treatments to restore function, prevent disability and maximize potential and quality of life following disease, injury, or surgery. Our therapists will be specially trained for vestibular rehabilitation and balance therapy. Provides Home Exercise Programs and necessary equipment to patients to ensure compliance. Meets pre-determined goals: PTRx execution, productivity, cancellation rates, etc. Additional job duties and tasks to be added throughout employment.

    Job Responsibilities

    Actively demonstrates balance's core values and brand promise and conducts oneself in a manner that is consistent with these values.

    Comply with regulatory agency standards and regulations and knows/adheres to all laws and regulations pertaining to patient health, safety, and medical information.

    Work directly under the supervision and instruction of a Doctor of Physical Therapy.

    Providing physical therapy services and executing a Plan of Care as instructed by a DPT.

    Assists patient towards goal achievement through effective treatments and interventions. Execute and educate home exercise program and self-treatment plans for the patient.

    Provides education to patient and family, including progression of therapy.

    Responsible for the accurate and thorough completion of daily notes, flow sheets, and any additional required documentation.

    Performs other duties consistent with purpose of job as directed.

    Implementing and complying with balance's PTRx model through all client communications and actions. Meeting and exceeding clinical performance metrics.

    Complete knowledge of balance's proprietary services and offerings. Includes but not limited to: Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy, Orthopedic Services, Pelvic Health Services, Fitness Services, Wellness Services, and Retail Products.

    Job Requirements

    Has ability to function independently in an environment that demands a high level of judgment and decision making with minimal direct supervision.

    Accepts responsibility and accountability for own actions.

    Organizes workload efficiently.

    EMR or "Electronic Medical Records" knowledge is preferred.

    Vestibular Rehabilitation and Balance Therapy experience preferred but not required.

    Professional appearance and the ability to eloquently interact with patients and their family members.

    Following all CDC and Health Department Guidelines to maintain a safe and sanitary workspace. Assist with maintaining the clinic’s equipment and facility standards.

    Education and Experience

    An active and valid Indiana Physical Therapist Assistant license is required.

    Experience working in an outpatient clinic is preferred. Experience working with neurologic patients, orthopedic patients, and pelvic wellness patients is recommended.

    Compensation and Benefits:

    $24 - $30 per hour, dependent on experience and certifications.
