    FYZICAL Therapy and Balance Center-Boerne is a physical therapy clinic looking for a dedicated, personable, and highly skilled physical therapist assistant. Join a practice where care is always provided one patient at a time and a full schedule is 12-16 patients per day.     Schedule:

    Monday to Thursday 7 AM-6 PM, 7-2:30 PM Friday

    8-hour shifts (staggered open hours may be implemented to provide patients greater access)

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Perform new-patient evaluations/exams

    Create a plan of care that sets goals and completion date

    Equip patients with PT intervention techniques/exercises; track progress

    Provide education to patients on techniques for the continuation of care

    Document care while working with the patient

    Educate patients on additional products and services that may enhance treatment and wellness

    Qualifications and Skills:

    The ideal candidate will have the following qualities, skills and experience:

    A true sense of care for our clients and an interest in guiding people to success

    Excellent communication and teaching skills

    Experience developing care plans to provide optimal care in an outpatient setting

    Interest in learning FYZICAL’s proprietary vestibular care protocols and making treatment of balance issues a part of your PT practice.

    A self-starter and can work independently to care for patients and achieve the clinic’s goals

    Motivated by serving others

    A high-level of organization, both professionally and personally

    Ability to complete your documentation while treating clients

    Enjoy partnering with others to accomplish tasks

    Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program (preferred)

    A current Texas State License for Physical Therapy (PT)

    Current CPR certification

    Previous experience in the outpatient physical therapy setting (preferred)
