    FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers of MetroWest is looking for a Physical Therapy Tech/Administrative Assistant - someone who is super-amazing, just loves people, and loves providing excellent customer service.     Qualifications:

    Positive, confident, energetic, motivating

    Associate degree or higher

    At least 1 year of experience in an outpatient physical therapy clinic or personal training environment

    Adept with technology

    Incredible attention to detail

    Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

    Able to precisely follow directions from medical professionals

    Responsibilities:

    Answer phones

    Greet patients, check them in/out

    Collect copayments and other fees

    Scan/file documentation into patient charts

    Marketing tasks as assigned

    Observes patients during treatments and reports orally to the physical therapist

    Files exercise flowsheets as necessary

    Keeps treatment areas (tables, equipment, and gym area) neat and clean

    Keeps machines clean and in working order and lets the manager know if any problems arise

    Cleans hydrocollators on a weekly basis, cold pack machines and other equipment as necessary

    Assists in escorting patients to treatment areas

    Prepares the treatment areas for patient care

    Prepares modality treatments as supervised by the physical therapist including electrical stimulation, laser therapy, hot/cold packs, and other modalities

    Performs supply inventory and unpacks/checks-in supply orders

    Keeps supplies in orderly fashion

    Maintains work area in a clean and orderly fashion

    Adheres to HIPAA/OSHA regulations

    Upsells clients as appropriate

    This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, working 8:15am - 5:15pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and 9:15am-6:15pm on Monday and Wednesday.
