Role Overview:FaZe Clan is looking to hire two interns to assist our Finance and Corporate Strategy & Analytics teams. In this role, you will work mainly with the Finance, Strategy, and Insights teams, along with other cross-functional teams within the company.This role will help address the strategic planning and analytics needs of FaZe Clan as we transition into becoming a public company, diving deep into the mechanics of how the biggest organization in Esports and Gaming should grow and optimize its businesses. Successful candidates will have an exceptional ability to analyze the metrics and data that underpin our business, and surface the most relevant insights in a way that business leaders can turn into a business plan. This person will work with top executives to help us understand and report our business as we SPAC and transition to becoming a public company. Looking for candidates that are willing to work hard to get the job done. Full-time, LA-based preferred.Intern Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist in updating our 5-year financial modelHelping department heads model out their businessesDraft analysis to help leaders understand where their businesses can be improved and how to get thereM&A support (due diligence, drafting presentations)Executive reporting and analysis for leadershipGeneral note taking and project follow up for corporate strategy projects Successful candidates will have a passion for and knowledge of esports, gaming, social video platforms (YouTube & Twitch), and influencer culture. Additionally, an ability to analyze the metrics and data from social platforms and communicate actionable insights for our social and content teams to turn into content.Become an expert on FaZe’s audience across platforms and apply data-driven practices to socialize insights about those different audiences across the company. Initiate competitive research on brands, influencers, and media and gaming organizations.This role has the potential to convert to a full-time position at FaZe Clan upon evaluation of performance and company needs.Intern Requirements and QualificationsGraduating senior in college/university or recent graduate.Ability to quickly learn new skills, tools, and processes. Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work with high-level executives.Strong skills creating presentations that are both graphically attractive, insightful, and actionable.Ability to complete multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment.Capable of meeting deadlines and working with daily time constraints.
