The quality Assurance Manager position will be helping to establish quality standards and regulations for products and employees. Leading the quality team with a strong hands-on leader to hold the quality team accountable and drive quality processes throughout the fulfillment center. Must analyze data to develop plans to recruit, motivate, and encourage employees while striving to improve processes and product quality.
Ensure the achievement of goals and objectives set by the QA department and business by managing staff, planning, and evaluating the department maintaining staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees and temp associates.
Drive and execute quality continuous improvement key initiatives and provide input to short, mid, and long-term planning and budgeting, accomplishing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
Performance management developing SOP's, implementations, and consistent assessments during peak seasons.
Quality management developing standards thru results-driven.
Handles pressure and must be able to implement updates as needed.
Proactively communicate on an on-going basis with the team, managers/supervisors, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth support is planned accordingly during main seasons and/or off-season supporting all operation areas as receiving, production, order fulfillment, and shipping.
Provide direction and inspire the team to ensure all quality assurance operations at the fulfillment center and processes are synergized with a focus on doing things Right First-Time and with process standardization.
Strong quality management skills to monitor, implement and track KPIs aligned with six sigma as DPMO, AQL, RFT. Develop and create reports aligned with other operations.
Coordinate with the Quality, production, and order fulfillment team operations to review, maintain and review processes to determine the appropriate approach aligned with Internal KPIs from Internal voice of process VOP and voice of customer VOC season over a season or as needed.
Supervise the seasonal temporary associates to achieve the best possible cost throughout the pro-active planning to the creation of processes to be trained avoiding heavy rotation of associates.
Ensure continuous product and process improvement with an emphasis on leading and Right First-Time development of products in accordance with the operating calendar.
Be responsible for monitoring and continuously improving workload and organizational efficiency and consistency with the support of the quality organization, data, and analysis. Allocating/delegating the different projects to the respective operation teams considering experience, process complexity, and workload.
QA manager will develop, coordinate, and enforce quality systems, company policies, procedures, and productivity standards by couching counseling, and disciplining employees as needed.
Provide the team with clear direction, Projects, and targets that are aligned with business needs and goal objectives.
Prepare quality reports ensuring the integrity of the actual results obtained in their areas corresponding to the appearance and packaging audits and control of the rejected lot, boxes, etc… of the finished product.
Maintain quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards, analyzing and resolving quality and customer service complaints brainstorming promoting quality improvements with a corrective action plan, and recommending process improvements.

Education:
BA Degree-Industrial Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain Management.
Lean/Six Sigma Certification, Yellow Belt, or Black Belt.
Experience:
Must have at least 5 years of apparel quality experience warehouse, distribution, warehousing, order fulfillment experience quality assurance related a plus.
