Job Description
We are seeking a Systems Administrator to join our growing IT team and provide technical support to 200+ users at our 600,000 square foot fulfilment center in Chino. In this role, you will have the opportunity to greatly impact and improve processes within a fast-growing e-commerce business.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Provide systems administration and technical support for our Chino fulfillment center.
- Work swing shift (late morning to early evening) but be willing to work different shifts and days to meet business needs of a warehouse that generally operates from 6am to 12 midnight 5 or 6 days per week.
- Lead IT projects including system implementations and upgrades.
- Partner with stakeholders and corporate IT to identify areas of improvement in our current systems and processes and present recommendations to leadership.
- Utilize hands-on technical skills (including SQL) for the administration of cloud-based systems and on-premise servers.
- Follow best practices through the entire technical support and implementation processes.
- Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) administration and troubleshooting.
- Manage device management software enabling remote management of all hardware and software.
- Assist IT Helpdesk team with break/fix issues and provide Tier 2 escalation support.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- 4+ years of experience in IT systems administration in a warehouse/fulfillment center environment
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced knowledge of AD, Google Apps, Azure and mixed PC/Mac environments
- Proven experience navigating and simplifying complex IT processes
- Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
- Advanced computer and networking knowledge including working directly with staff to troubleshoot
- Experience with networking tools, Windows operating and database management systems, .NET and HTML5
- Experience with translating business requirements into technical design documents
- Intermediate to Advanced configuration or programming experience in (Java, Python, C#) and interaction in databases (TSQL queries and stored procedures)
- Knowledge of barcode scanning and RF hardware (Intermec, LXE, Motorola, Symbol)
- Must be able to independently research, select and implement reasonable solutions, and document resolution and proper operating procedures
- Occasional travel to our West LA offices
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with HighJump WMS
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in the field (Computer Science, MIS or IS/IT)
- Supply Chain Management domain expertise
- Customer service and consulting experience
