In search of an experienced General Manager for our fast-paced, safety minded Fabrication shop in Mentor, OH. There are few companies in North America that offer TIG, MIG, STICK, ARC and THERMITE welding, and this is your chance to be one of the select few that gets to manage one of these state-of-the-art shops!
This shop assembles and fabricates parts from scratch based on concepts created in AutoCad. From metal canopies, conveyors, maintenance platforms with handrails, ductwork to intricately detailed gears and other parts.
[Duties]- Provide strategic and operational leadership by aligning daily business activities, production scheduling, and project execution with company goals, while fostering a high-performance culture and leading regular production meetings
- Oversee financial performance and project success by managing budgets, monitoring KPIs, analyzing cost-efficiency opportunities, reviewing change orders, and driving revenue while controlling operational expenses
- Lead organizational development and collaboration by hiring and developing staff, conducting performance reviews, improving processes and policies, coordinating across teams, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, engineers, and internal stakeholders
[Requirements]- 10 years experience in steel fabricating or steel construction
- 5 years experience as a supervisor and/or manager in a shop and/or construction environment
- Valid driver's license
[Details]- $110-140K salary
