We specialize in high-quality fabrication projects, maintaining a commitment to safety, efficiency, and precision. We are seeking a highly skilled Fabrication Shop Supervisor with a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience to lead our shop team.
Responsibilities:
Supervise day-to-day operations of the fabrication shop.
Oversee workflow from raw material intake to finished product.
Assign and manage tasks for fabricators, welders, machinists, and support staff.
Enforce safety, quality, and production standards.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
Train and mentor team members, fostering continuous improvement.
Coordinate with project managers and engineers to meet deadlines and resolve production issues.
Maintain inventory levels and equipment functionality.
Implement process improvements for efficiency and cost reduction.
Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of experience in metal fabrication, welding, machining, or a related trade.
Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a fabrication/manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques, welding procedures, and shop equipment.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proven ability to enforce safety protocols and quality standards.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to fast-paced environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in welding, fabrication, or related fields.
Experience with CNC Press Brakes, CNC Plasma Cutters, CNC Turret Punch.
Lean manufacturing experience.
