The Fabrication Technician is responsible for assembling, shaping, cutting, and preparing metal or other materials to create various components or products. Will be working with hand tools, power tools and machinery to fabric parts according to blueprints, schematics, or work orders. The role requires attention to detail, mechanical skills, and the ability to follow safety procedures.
Responsibilities
Measure, cut and shape materials using saw, drills, grinders, and other tool
Operate fabrication equipment such a welder, press brake, shear, and CNC machines
Assemble components using welding, riveting, bolting, or adhesive bonding techniques
Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and adherence specifications
Follow workplace safety standards and procedures to prevent accidents
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualification
Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and industrial machinery
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Able to stand or walk for long period of time
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
