    Fabrication and Maintenance Technician Full-Time – On-Site Location: Marlboro, NJ Reports to: Production Supervisor Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

    This is an on-site Fabrication and Maintenance Technician role in a manufacturing plant located in Marlboro, NJ. The position offers competitive pay and excellent benefits!

    We are seeking a skilled maintenance technician to support the fabrication, assembly, and testing of custom-built machinery. This is a hands-on role building complex mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring precision and quality in every component. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with various tools, materials, and manufacturing processes.

    Job Requirements:

    Must possess a valid driver license

    Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (verification required upon employment)

    Job Purpose Summary:

    Support the fabrication and assembly of vehicle outfitting, specialty equipment, woodworking, and mechanical systems

    Collaborate closely with the outfitting team to ensure vehicles and equipment meet specifications

    Assist with general equipment, facility, and woodworking maintenance as needed

    Skills Required:

    Fabrication, mechanical assembly, and light electrical experience

    Woodworking skills including measuring, cutting, shaping, and finishing wood components

    Blueprint reading, welding, and machining knowledge

    Proficient use of hand and power tools across metal and wood trades

    Key Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):

    Build and modify specialty machinery, vehicles, and wood components

    Perform woodworking tasks such as cutting, sanding, and assembling parts

    Wire, test, and troubleshoot equipment

    Support general outfitting and woodworking tasks as needed

    Fabricate components per schematics (metal and wood)

    Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workspace

    Physical Requirements:

    Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly

    Must adhere to safety protocols and use PPE to prevent accidents and injuries

    Ability to spend long periods standing, walking, kneeling, or working in repetitive motions

    Use of hands and fingers to operate tools and assemble components

    Comfortable working in a workshop/manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and temperature changes

    Fine motor skills and precise hand-eye coordination to handle small parts and tools accurately

    Ability to maintain energy and focus throughout the shift

    Good vision for reading instructions, inspecting parts, and ensuring quality (color vision may sometimes be required)

    Hearing ability for understanding instructions and recognizing machinery sounds

    Must be comfortable in an environment that is noisy, dusty, and subject to temperature changes, while maintaining safety practices
