    ATZ Manufacturing is a family-owned manufacturing business that started in 2008. Our product line started with the Action Trackchair and has grown to include other tracked/mobility products, as well as other outside work done for customers. We pride ourselves on providing the highest individual service to our customers. We have top shelf equipment for Laser Cutting, Computerized Press Brake, Powder Coating, Sandblasting/Wheel-a-brator, Robotic Welding, Tube Bending, Machining, Shearing, Rolling, Custom Design (SolidWorks).

    We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The fabricator will be responsible for constructing metal and other material components according to specifications, using a variety of tools and equipment.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    · Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.

    · Measure, cut, bend, and assemble materials using tools such as saws, shears, flame cutters, grinders, and welders.

    · Operate fabrication machinery including brakes, presses, and CNC equipment.

    · Weld and finish components according to project requirements.

    · Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.

    · Complete accurate daily reports to track job-specific labor hours via computer software.

    · Maintain a clean and orderly work area following prescribed safety standards.

    · Demonstrate correct use of PPE.

    · Perform all work duties in a safe, professional, punctual, and efficient manner.

    · Performs other related duties/tasks as assigned by floor leader(s) that are of a reasonable request to include mandatory overtime when needed.

    · Reports concerns, issues, and shortages to appropriate leader(s) in timely manner.

    Education & Experience:

    · 1-3 years of MIG & TIG welding experience preferred, and prior use of various tools/equipment including lathe, mill, drill press, plasma cutter, bandsaw, angle grinder, and belt sander.

    · Welding Certification, preferred

    · Familiarity with fabrication machinery

    · Ability to perform arithmetic calculations and read and record detailed measurements, counts, distances, and times.

    · Able to read and accurately interpret prints and shop drawings.

    · Able to carry basic math calculations to find missing dimensions.

    Physical Requirements:

    · Ability to stand at welding station for up to 10+ hours.

    · Sufficient hand-arm-eye coordination to guide objects into specific placement or alignment, make intricate connections, and make precise measurements.

    · Must be able to lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 pounds.

    · Frequent stooping, bending, twisting, squatting, pushing, and pulling.

    · Occasional lifting above shoulder level.

    · Must be able to perform Team Lift to lift/push/pull/carry up to 80 pounds.
